Sorry about not replying before class on Friday ... but in class we talked at length about the presentation style (or forms of representation) springing from your project rather than following a generic form. So I think the question you should ask is "what does my project specifically call for in terms of the type/style/form of documentation?”
If you went down the 2d drawing route I'd expect that the documentation coming from your Revit models could be obsessively detailed ... and interconnected between each view and each of the models.
