Hi Blake, yes ... it's still very 'even' in texture, materiality and concept. It needs to be much bolder in terms of it's propositions as well as more characterful in its presentation ... it's very 'beige'. The images included that show the flooded houses are dramatic, but in contrast your light blue way is gentle and serene. There needs to be more empathy for the people who's houses were destroyed ... at the moment I read the text and think ... "if it only happens every 100 years, why bother making the mechanism you propose? The owners will be dead, the house probably gone." ... but with more empathy we might appreciate how devastating it is to have all of your worldly possessions and even loved ones taken away from you. That's the sort of devastation that prompts people to take extreme measures to protect things that are never likely to be needed. In a word, it needs more Passion. Cheers
